Mercedes just revealed the Benz E-Class G-Wagen All-Terrain with the tag ‘4x4²’. The monster truck-like wagon-structured crossover SUV packs all you can ever think of in a single framework as far as rugged driving is concerned. The G-Wagen 4x4² suggests better stability and drift system for a much more comfortable driving.
Honestly speaking, this all-terrain looks more like the E400 E-Class All-Terrain station wagon. However, the new G-Wagen isn't for sale (at least for now) but specifications of the vehicle have been released as stated below:
Engine capacity is a 3.0-litre V6 petrol (expect a turbocharged engine) which will produce power of about 329bhp.
Speed from 0-100/hr is just 7.0 seconds. Well, that's not so impressive of a 4x4 - probably because of its heavy-duty nature and weight, although top speed is reported to be 178km/hr (110 mph). Very surprising.
Transmission is a nine-speed automatic with an all-wheel drive train.
