The Hennessy Venom F5 aims to become the fastest car on earth with speeds projected to exceed 300 mph! In addition to that, there's a twin-turbocharged V8 engine under the hood with a whopping 1,600-horsepower.
All that power is sent to the rear wheels by way of a seven-speed, single-clutch transmission. The Venom F5 was unveiled at the 2017 SEMA aftermarket trade show, and of course, Hennessy vehicles are not the usual everyday cars. They are usually made for high-performance.
According to estimates by Hennessy, it it will only take the F5 10 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 186 mph! Eventually, if this becomes a reality, the Venom F5 would be the fastest car on the planet until the record is defeated.
