Meet Renault's futuristic robo-vehicle, also designed to function as a ride-hailing vehicle. The iconic design and the luxury therein makes a satisfying experience, and as well, the concept is environment-friendly.
Renault's Senior Vice President for Corporate Design, Laurens van den Acker noted: "We designed Renault EZ-GO to be an iconic symbol for cities. This electric, autonomous concept explores the positive potential impact of shared mobility for all."
"Visually appealing and integrated in the urban environment, it offers an unprecedented 360 degree 'open window' on the city and a convivial space for people to relax and enjoy the ride."
The boxy and spacious interior of the EZ-GO concept is said to be designed to maximize the field of view of the self-driving system sensors for a more efficient and effective operation. The panoramic roof and glass panels would allow natural light to pass through, giving a taste of nature to its occupants while en cruise.
Interestingly, the ride height of the vehicle is not intrusive as passengers can easily walk in to the car or slide in their luggage as the case may be. See details in the pictures.
